Study abroad

Studying abroad offers a wide range of benefits, including not only improving language skills but also enhancing personal growth and deepening cross-cultural understanding. Additionally, by meeting certain requirements, students may receive scholarship support, and credits earned abroad can be transferred to their degree at our university. If you want to experience different cultures, improve your language skills or career prospects, or expand your network and grow on the global stage, we encourage you to take part in our diverse study abroad programs and explore the world!

1. Exchange Program Okayama (EPOK)

2. Language training ・ Short-Term Overseas Training

The Institute of Global Human Resource Development offers language and short-term overseas training programs during the spring and summer breaks each year. These programs provide students with the opportunity to study English intensively at partner institutions abroad, while also participating in cultural exchange events and extracurricular activities with local students. This combination allows participants to enhance their practical language skills while enjoying a rich cultural experience.
The programs are open to all regular students enrolled at Okayama University, regardless of their year or language proficiency. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your international perspective and develop valuable global skills.
